Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the hosted kinora service. By accessing or using it, you agree to them. The service is operated by Joris Gallot. Self-hosting kinora is governed by its open-source licenses (FSL-1.1-MIT for the server and dashboard, MIT for the client libraries), not these terms.

The service

kinora is a dashboard for Playwright test reports across projects and over time, with an embedded trace viewer. It offers a Free plan and paid plans. Features and limits per plan are described on the pricing page and may change as the product evolves.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Plan prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
  • Paid subscriptions auto-renew each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
  • Billing is handled by our payment provider, Polar, acting as merchant of record.
  • Payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by mandatory applicable law.

Your content

You keep ownership of the test data and artifacts you upload. You grant kinora the rights needed to store and display them to you and your workspace. You are responsible for what you upload, including not sending secrets or data you are not allowed to share. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, exceed plan limits through circumvention, or use kinora in violation of applicable law.

Third-party services

kinora relies on third-party infrastructure and providers, including Polar (billing), Hetzner (hosting and storage), Resend (email), Sentry (error monitoring), and Google or GitHub if you choose social sign-in. Availability and behavior may depend on those services.

Disclaimer and liability

kinora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. kinora may change, break, or lose data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lyon, France, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
